Middle Eastern Recipes
  Hummus Bi Tahini

 

Ingredients

1 Cup canned chick peas
¼ Cup tahini
3-4 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ Cup olive oil
2 Cloves garlic
2 Teaspoons cumin
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Plum tomatoes, diced

Process

Place all ingredients, except tomatoes in blender and puree until a smooth paste is formed.

Adjust seasonings to suit individual taste.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours for flavors to set.

Add diced tomatoes at time of serving.
